About

DSC_0253 (2)Bubba-san has been writing songs since the mid 70’s. A world traveler and businessman, he has only recently started recording and performing. Call him a expat poet or a singing fisherman; he is musical storyteller of the time-tested troubadour tradition. He recollects his early influences as an eclectic combination of Johnny Cash, Bill Cosby, Mark Twain, Somerset Maugham, Lewis Grizzard, Daniel Boone, Jimmy Buffett, John Prine, Jerry Jeff Walker, Fernando Magellan, William Faulkner, Kris Kristofferson, John D. McDonald, Ernest Hemmingway, and Steve Goodman. Compared to singer/songwriters like Buffett and Prine, Bubba-san is often funny, sometimes sensitive, but always entertaining. Wear your fishing gear, kimono, or best beach attire and expect to have a good time.
